First Meeting Of The First Elected Members Of The Brazos Central Appraisal District Board

Sworn in August 22, 2024 as new members of the board of the Brazos Central Appraisal District are (L-R) Brazos County's new tax assessor-collector Melissa Leonard and the first elected board members Jane Sherman and Rafael Pena. They were sworn in by BCAD administrative assistant Debbie Lockledge. In November 2023, Texas voters changed the state constitution by adding elected members to appraisal district boards.
