The Sexual Assault Resource Center will begin the 89th Advocate Training Class on Monday, March 20th, at CHI St. Joseph’s Health Madison Hospital. The training class is open to all individuals interested in serving as an advocate for survivors of sexual violence, their family members and loved ones.
The Advocate Training Program is free and certified by the Office of the Attorney General. Anyone interested in volunteering can call Caroline Adams or Amanda Gomes at 979-731-1000 between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. Or, visit the website at www.sarcbv.org.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check.
