Earl Graham Post #159 American Legion hosted the 420th Engineering Brigade Deployment Send off in February 2017. Reservists were called to active duty for deployment in the Middle East and their families accompanied them to their home base in Bryan to say farewell. It was a bittersweet party, with lots of hugging children and more than a few tears.
During their deployment, Post 159 remained faithful to the 420th personnel and shipped monthly jumbo-sized Troop Boxes filled with toiletries and snacks, goodies and comfort items not readily available overseas.
The American Legion has a long history of serving our nation’s veterans and Post #159 in Bryan is proud to host a Texas-sized “Welcome Home!” for the men and women of the 420th Engineering Brigade who dutifully answered the call to serve our nation. Post #159 wants to ensure that Brazos Valley continues to serve those who have served our country.
