A Houston Rockets rally fell just short last night as they lost to the Thunder in Oklahoma City 105 to 102 and have fallen behind in the NBA play-off series two-games-to-none.  But, the San Antonio Spurs have opened a two-games-to-none lead over the Los Angeles Lakers after winning last night 102 to 91.  The Rockets will host the Thunder for game three of the series on Saturday night while the Spurs continue their series with the Lakers with game three in Los Angeles tomorrow night.

And, the Houston Astros powered their way past the Seattle Mariners yesterday 10 to 3.  Meanwhile, the Texas Rangers used a nine-run fourth inning last night to cruise past the Los Angeles Angels on the road 11 to 3.  The Astros are off today while tonight the Rangers play the first game of a four game series against the Twins in Minnesota.
