Sports Headlines–4/12/2013

The Bryan Vikings baseball team will make a long road trip tonight to play a District 14-5A game at Lufkin.  The Rudder Rangers will also be on the road tonight to play a District 18-4A game at Waller.  The College Station Cougars will stay home tonight to host Caldwell for a District 18-3A game at 7 pm.  And, the A&M Consolidated Tigers will play a non-district game tomorrow afternoon at Alief Taylor.

The Bryan Lady Vikings softball team will play their final home game of the season tonight at 6:30 when they host The Woodlands for a District 14-5A game.  The A&M Consolidated Lady Tigers will play a District 14-5A game tonight at Conroe Oak Ridge.  The Rudder Lady Rangers will play a District 18-4A game at Willis.  And, The College Station Lady Cougars will host Caldwell for a District 18-3A game at 7 pm.

The 24th-ranked Texas A&M baseball team will host 16th-ranked Mississippi State tonight at 6:35 pm for the first game of a weekend S-E-C series at Blue Bell Park.  The Aggies and Bulldogs will also play tomorrow at 12:30 pm and Sunday at 1:05 pm.

The 10th-ranked Texas Aggie softball team will host 13th-ranked L-S-U for a weekend conference series beginning tonight at 7 pm.  The teams will also play tomorrow at 2:30 pm and Sunday at 12:30 pm.

All three Texas pro-basketball teams will play tonight.  The Houston Rockets will host the Memphis Grizzlies, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Sacramento Kings, and the Dallas Mavericks will host the Denver Nuggets.

And, in major league baseball, the Texas Rangers slipped past the Mariners in Seattle last night 4 to 3.  Tonight, the Houston Astros will play the Angels in Los Angeles and the Rangers and Mariners will play again in Seattle.
