THE A&M CONSOLIDATED TIGERS BASEBALL TEAM DROPPED A DISTRICT 14-5A GAME TO OAK RIDGE LAST NIGHT LOSING TO THE WAR EAGLES 8 TO 3.  THE TIGERS ARE OFF UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY WHEN THEY WILL HOST CONROE.  THE COLLEGE STATION COUGARS BEAT DISTRICT 18-3A FOE TAYLOR LAST NIGHT 9 TO 2.  THE COUGARS WILL HOST NAVASOTA FOR THEIR NEXT GAME NEXT FRIDAY.

IN SOFTBALL, THE BRYAN LADY VIKINGS CLOBBERED CONROE 16 TO NOTHING IN FIVE INNINGS LAST NIGHT FOR A DISTRICT 14-5A WIN.  THE A&M CONSOLIDATED LADY TIGERS ALSO PICKED UP A DISTRICT 14-5A WIN LAST NIGHT WHEN THEY BEAT 8TH-RANKED THE WOODLANDS 2 TO 1.  AND, THE COLLEGE STATION LADY COUGARS SHUT OUT DISTRICT 18-3A OPPONENT TAYLOR 1 TO NOTHING.  THE LADY VIKINGS AND LADY TIGERS ARE OFF UNTIL NEXT FRIDAY WHEN THEY WILL PLAY THE SECOND SOFTBALL CROSSTOWN SHOWDOWN OF THE SEASON IN BRYAN.  THE LADY COUGARS WILL HOST NAVASOTA NEXT FRIDAY.

THE TEXAS A&M BASEBALL TEAM LOST THEIR FIRST GAME TO 14TH-RANKED SOUTH CAROLINA LAST NIGHT 3 TO 2.  THE TWO TEAMS WILL PLAY AGAIN TONIGHT AND TOMORROW AFTERNOON.

THE 9TH-RANKED TEXAS AGGIE SOFTBALL TEAM WILL HOST DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPION AND 4TH-RANKED ALABAMA FOR A CONFERENCE SERIES BEGINNING TONIGHT.  THE TEAMS WILL PLAY AT THE AGGIE SOFTBALL COMPLEX TONIGHT AT 7 PM, TOMORROW AT 4 PM, AND EASTER SUNDAY AT 12 NOON.

IN PRO BASKETBALL LAST NIGHT, THE DALLAS MAVERICKS LOST TO THE INDIANA PACERS 103 TO 78.  TONIGHT, THE HOUSTON ROCKETS WILL PLAY THE GRIZZLIES IN MEMPHIS AND THE SAN ANTONIO SPURS WILL HOST THE L-A CLIPPERS.

AND, THE MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL SEASON BEGINS THIS WEEKEND.  EASTER SUNDAY NIGHT, THE HOUSTON ASTROS WILL HOST THE TEXAS RANGERS.
